1.3 TO: POTENTIAL BIDDERS
A. The Owner invites bids on the form attached hereto for the construction of an addition to the First Presbyterian Church in Corvallis, Oregon. Offers to be submitted under seal to Owner to the above address before 2:00 pm local standard time on the eleventh day of August, 2009, where the offers will be opened and read aloud.
B. Project Description:
1. The project generally consists of a 6,450 square foot fellowship hall addition to the existing First Presbyterian Church.
C. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and other contract documents may be examined at the following:

D. An optional pre-bid conference will be held at 11 :00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at the First Presbyterian Church, in Corvallis, Oregon. Bidders will have an opportunity to visit the site of the work and areas of the existing building affected by new construction.
E. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Document 00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders and Document 00 31 00 - Available Project Information.
F. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate.
G. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission.
H. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids if it be in the Owner's best interest to do so. The Owner reserves the right to cancel this procurement at any time without liability to any bidder or other party.
