Bryant Rd & Foothills Rd Pump Stations Project

 

REQUEST FOR PREQUALIFICATION APPLICATIONS
FOR BRYANT ROAD AND FOOTHILLS ROAD PUMP STATIONS PROJECT

The City of Lake Oswego, Oregon requests prequalification applications from interested contractors to construct the Bryant Road and Foothills Road Pump Stations, one phase in a multi-phase project to upgrade the existing Lake Oswego Interceptor Sewer.  This application is for the Bryant Road and Foothills Road Pump Stations Project (Bryant Road PS Project), for which prequalified contractors will be invited on November 3, 2009 to submit bids by December 15, 2009.  Approximate cost of the Bryant Road PS Project is $1 million to $4 million.  Work is expected to begin in January 2010 and to be completed by April 2011.  Prequalification will be required of all general contractors and specialty electrical and instrumentation and controls contractors wishing to perform work on the Bryant Road PS Project.

Sealed Prequalification Applications must be received by 2:00 P.M. PST, October 8, 2009 by Joel B. Komarek, P.E., Project Director, City of Lake Oswego, P.O. Bryant Road PS Project work includes: 

  • The replacement of the 0.2 MGD Foothills Road Pump Station
  • The construction of the new 2.6 MGD Bryant Road Pump Station
  • Sliplining of 800 feet of existing 14-inch asbestos cement pipe with 4-inch HDPE
  • Installation of 240 feet of new 14-inch ductile iron forcemain
  • Realignment of 100-feet of 12” gravity sewer in the Main Canal (to be performed during the drawdown of Oswego Lake).
