ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
1.01 NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed Bids and First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Forms will be received by Robert Teters, Project Manager of West Linn Wilsonville School District, at the District Operations Center, 2755 SW Borland Road, Tualatin, Oregon 97062, until 2:00 p.m. local time, June 2,2010, for the general construction of the Renovation @ Boeckman Creek Primary and Inza Wood Middle Schools. The bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the time fixed for receiving bids will be returned, unopened. General Contractors will be required to submit a First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form within the time frame indicated below.
1.02 BIDDING DOCUMENTS
Briefly, the work for this project shall be executed under a single general construction contract including General, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical work for the Renovation @ Boeckman Creek Primary and Inza Wood Middle Schools for the West Linn Wilsonville School District 3jt. Bidding documents for the work are those prepared by the Architect, Dull Olson Weekes Architects Inc.; 907 SW Stark Street; Portland, OR 97205 (503-226-6950). Bona·fide General Bidders may obtain two (2) sets only, after 2 p.m. Monday, May 17,2010 at Willamette Print and Blueprint; 3461NW Yeon Ave., Portland,OR 97210; (503-223-5011) upon deposit of a check in the amount of $100.00/set, plus shipping costs; return of deposit to be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Should a bidder wish additional sets or parts of sets, he may obtain them by paying the cost of the reproduction thereof, plus handling and mailing costs, with no refund for the additional sets or parts thereof.
Bidders shall use complete sets of Bidding Documents in preparing Bids. Neither the School District nor the Architect assumes any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents.
Bidding Documents will be available for examination during the bidding period at the School District Administration Office and in the following organization offices:

1.03 PREBID MEETING
A Mandatory PreBid Conference will be held for all contractors intending to submit bids for this project on Monday, May 24, 2010, at 11 :00 a.m. at the District Operation Center; 2755SW Borland Rd, Tualatin, OR 97062. A site visit to each of the School will follow the Pre-Bid Conference.
1.04 BID SECURITY
No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check, bank cashier's check or surety bond executed by a State licensed surety company, payable to the School District in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid. No interest will be paid on bid security. Return or retention of bid security shall be subject to the provisions of ORS 279C.365(5).
1.05 DISCLOSURE FORM
All contractors, pursuant to ORS 279C.370 are required to complete Document 00 43 50 - FirstTier Subcontractor Disclosure Form under the requirements of the Instructions to Bidders. The completed form must be received at the District Operation Center Offices within 2 hours of the Bid time and date.
All bids must be received at the District Operation Center to bid closing date and time shown
above.
This Project is subject to State of Oregon Prevailing Wage requirements in accordance with ORS
279C.$00throughORS279C.870.
