ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
1.01 NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed Bids and First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Forms will be received by Remo Douglas, Project Manager of West Linn Wilsonville School District, at the District Operations Center, 2755 SW Borland Road, Tualatin, Oregon 97062, until 2:00 p.m. local time, June 23, for the general construction of the West Linn High School Gym and Commons Finishes Project. The bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the time fixed for receiving bids will be returned, unopened. General Contractors will be required to submit a First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form within the time frame indicated below.
1.02 BIDDING DOCUMENTS
Briefly, the work for this project shall be executed under a single general construction contract including General and Electrical work for the West Linn High School Gym and Commons Finishes Project for the WestLinn - Wilsonville School District. Bidding documents for the work are those prepared by the Architect, Dull Olson Weekes Architects Inc.; 907 SW Stark Street; Portland, OR 97205 (503-226-6950). Bona fide General Bidders may obtain two (2) sets only, after 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 8 2010, at Willamette Print and Blueprint; 3461 NW Yeon Ave., Portland, OR 97210; (503-223-5011) upon deposit of a check in the amount of $100.00/set, plus shipping costs; return of deposit to be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders Should a bidder wish additional sets or parts of sets, he may obtain them by paying the cost of the reproduction thereof, plus handling and mailing costs, with no refund for the additional sets or parts thereof.
Bidders shall use complete sets of Bidding Documents in preparing Bids. Neither the School District nor the Architect assumes any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents.
Bidding Documents will be available for examination during the bidding period at the School District Administration Office and in the following organization offices:
